5.1.2. Currency Types

Initially, four rare currencies are inside the game: GOLD, SAPPHIRE, DIAMOND, and OPAL. Each currency has specific properties and versatile use cases in the game.

a. GOLD

Acquisition : GOLD can be acquired inside the game in the following ways:

• Picked up on the map during a run (PvE/PvP).

• Obtained from a chest.

• Received for completing Trophy Road.

• Received for completing Battle Pass missions and levels.

Usage : The currency is used to increase the level of the character.

b. SAPPHIRE

Acquisition : SAPPHIRE can be obtained in the following ways:

• For killing monsters during the run.

• Obtained from a chest.

• Received for completing Trophy Road.

• Received for completing Battle Pass missions and levels.

Usage : The currency is used to increase the level of the passive ability.

c. DIAMOND

Acquisition : DIAMOND inside the game can be acquired in the following ways:

• For victories in PvP-mode.

• Obtained from a chest.

• Received for completing Trophy Road.

• Received for completing Battle Pass missions and levels.

Usage : The currency is used to increase the level of active ability and pets' level.

d. OPAL

OPAL(In-game currency) is earned by completing daily missions in PvE mode and by participating in PvP battles. The amount earned depends on various factors, such as how a player performs against the enemies in PVP mode, win rate, events participation, league rank, battle pass, character level, skin rarity, and daily tasks. OPAL can also be utilized to buy visual upgrades of skins, which can be used to customize characters and much more.

Acquisition : OPAL is a hard currency inside the game that can be obtained in the following ways:

• Purchased from the in-game store or marketplace.

• Obtained from a chest.

• Received for completing Trophy Road.

• Received for completing Battle Pass missions and levels.

• Received for completing Daily mission of Endless run(PvE) mode.

• Received for playing the Battle run(PvP) mode.

Usage : OPAL are used for

• Character-level upgrades.

• OPAL is required to rejoin the race from the last point immediately and gain extra life in an endless run(PvE).

• Leveling the milestone level of the active and passive abilities.

• Buying the visual skin upgrades.

• Purchase items in the in-game store.

• Acquire premium NFTs from the Marketplace.

• Acquire tickets for special events and tournaments

• In Exchange for $MRUN tokens
